The Liemur Way of Training

Our Approach
- We don’t believe in “trainees” – we believe in making people ready to do the job when the training is complete.
- We are an educational source and not a “training broker”. We create all of our own courseware and utilised only certified training delivery staff.
- Our courses are substantial, hard-hitting and deliver real learning value to the delegates.
- We are flexible and responsive. We will adapt our delivery where required to ensure that the learning objectives are achieved.
The Format
- We delivery both “off the shelf” training courses and customised educational programmes. Programmes are designed to deliver “fit for work” people to your project/development environment. We design educational paths for the individual attendees to maximise the effectiveness of the learning process.
- On customised educational programmes, we provide a complete management information reporting package with individual delegate reports with recommendations for further development.
Programme Design
- We customise each course to meet the specific needs of the customer’s organisation and projects.
- We specify precise measurable learning outputs in advance. For example, the delegates will be able to perform tasks A, B and C, and then put in place the appropriate level of monitoring to ensure targets are met.
- Our lab exercises and case studies form a key part of each programme and can integrate actual customer production material to make the delegate’s experience as close to the real-life situation as possible. These labs exercises aim to validate the learning and stimulate thinking. This approach typically leads to yet more questions as well as providing the direct re-assurance of a hands-on situation. The exercises have no clear-cut solutions and this allows delegates to learn by making mistakes and recognising the associated symptoms in a controlled environment.
Programme Delivery
- We deliver programmes using a highly interactive format that involve the delegates directly in every aspect of the learning process.
- The result of this approach is that the focus is on the student,
and not the instructor.
The effectiveness of the learning is verified each morning by a critical review of the proceedings and contents of the previous day. - We show real interest in what the delegates think and encourages questions and comments.
