Requirements Analysis with Use Cases
Liemur’s UC is a two day course focusing on using use cases to analyse requirements. The course gives and overview of the Unified Modelling Language (UML), the standard notation for project artefacts. UML is used throughout the course.
Using an iterative software development process as backdrop, the course explains the key role of use cases for scoping project, and driving the analysis, design and development activities.
The course’s primary educational objective is the development of quality use cases to document requirements. Starting from the identification of the system’s boundary and actors, candidate use cases are identified and modelled before being further documented in detail. The course also covers advance use case usage and relationships.
Once the main body of requirements have been captured, the use cases are essential to the further exploration and analysis of the system under consideration
Using a case study, the delegates will learn how to document requirements with use cases, and gain a greater understanding of the system by modelling the system interface and the internal activities of the system.
Aim
• To develop a use case model describing system requirements in
context that
• Can be used in further analysis
• Form the basis for developing the functional test model
Audience

use of use cases to build and understand the
system requirements set.
