Managing a RUP Based Project
The MUP course focuses specifically on the management of projects following an iterative software development process based on the Rational Unified Process (RUP). It aims at providing delegates with an in-depth coverage of how to manage iterative projects.
The course includes a number of hands-on exercises to allow delegates to understand the project roles, responsibilities and activities and also covers techniques and artefacts that will be needed during the project lifecycle.
The Rational Unified Process is a very complete process framework for software development. This course will not try to provide complete coverage, instead it aims to provide delegates with pragmatic advice particularly on how to start RUP projects with particular attention paid to the high risk RUP phases - Inception and Elaboration.
